July is almost over!
But we are still swimming and having a blast! Not ready to let summer go (just the 100 degree temps!!!)
No matter what we have made some big strides in our swimming abilities this year. will have to post some video to show the new skills- but here are some pics for now! Almost birthday time for Cale- so we are busy with birthday preparations. like any good summer birthday girl, she is having a pool party again this year- and we are excited to have her friends and family come celebrate.
Hope to post more soon!

1 Day of school left...
And we are PUMPED for summer! The girls know exactly how many days until the opening of the pools and waterpark- and we are ready! Meanwhile- we continue to play and have fun at the house. Loving my new camera- still trying to figure it all out!

Let Summer Begin!
We are very ready for summer! Only a few days of preschool remain. Hard to believe.
Monday and Tuesday were in the 90's - so we hit the "pool." The girls are still happy to play with the splash pool s and all of their water toys. It was a blast. Hoping for a nice warm May- and we will be ready to hit Summit Waves on opening day!

Cale rides a bike!
Thanks to my sweet friend Jill, Cale now has a new princess bike. Thanks Jill! While Cale did have a smaller bike last year- she was not very interested or ready for it. This year, she is ALL About riding her bike.
Of course she has training wheels on for now, but she is being very "brave" and asking to do lots of riding.
Just one more "big kid" thing that she can do! Oh- and leave it to my kid to wear her Tinkerbell Jammies to ride her bike the first time on a nice spring Day... but hey, whatever.
The list keeps getting longer.... At 4 and a 1/2 she can do these things:
Pour her own milk and cereal
Pump on the swing and start without a push.
Make her bed
Fold and put away her laundry
She's a mean coupon cutter with mad scissors skills (when she's not cutting her own hair)
Fix my phone when its not working
starting to learn to read with her mommy.
and many more.
What a big girl!

Growing up!
Lately, it seems that I am being CONSTANTLY reminded that my lovely "little" Leah is not so little anymore!
wow, she is almost 3! I guess each year she grows older will make me tear up...so lest I try and say it is only because she is turning 3. I am thankful that I can remember so much about her life thus far- little details and things that make me smile. Well, time to post a few pictures and I hope you enjoy them. I would like to do a more thorough update on Leah here soon. Just been spending more time playing and less time on the computer.

Elmo's Healthy Heroes-Sprint Center
We had a blast! We were so thankful for friends that gave us tickets so that we were able to have this fun experience. The girls were SO excited to see the characters sing and dance-it was a first for them (and ANDY!).
Highlights were getting to share some pink cotton candy (lots of finger licking) and the confetti that would shoot out was Cale's favorite part. Leah loved to take pictures of the characters and danced along with their cheers. the LAST picture of the characters is my favorite...look closely and someone in front of me is giving the rock on sign... made me laugh.

Christmas 2010
We had a wonderful Christmas as a family. We enjoyed all the preparations, parties and goodies that go along with it all. We were blessed to be able to see most of our family, and we visited Andy's Grandma in the hospital on Sunday after Christmas. Cale really loved being a part of the candlelight worship service at church on Christmas Eve- she was so proud to hold her own candle. Leah was really focused on everyone else on Christmas morning. We had to keep directing her back to her gifts from Santa. By Christmas night though- we was all about the opening. We are blessed beyond measure, and continue to be thankful for all that we have. Looking forward to a great 2011!
