Today was Father's Day- and what a day it was. We had a very busy day- but it was wonderful. Cale wore an "I Love Daddy" shirt and Leah's said, "my heart belongs to Daddy." I couldn't resist. (they didn't match though...) We were able to spend lots of time with our family and everyone enjoyed themselves. I posted a picture of Aunt Abby with Cale. Cale had a lot of fun with her today. Abby also put her hair up in a ponytail (her first pontytail) as you can see in the picture on the right with Aunt Carrie. Great Grandma had fun snuggling with Leah- and doesn't my Grandma look amazing!?! It was really nice to have everyone over. Thanks to all of you for being here to celebrate! PS I added a couple pictures to the Father's Day slide show below if you have extra time on your hands!!! Lots of Love, The Cox Family

ATTACK OF THE GOOSE!
So we went to the zoo today- and had a great time. In fact- Cale did so well that she fell asleep on the long walk from Africa and we were able to stay and see the sea lion show this afternoon (mom liked it as much or more than Cale...) Anyway, before we headed up from Africa we ran into a Goose. He was hungry- and went after the carrot that Cale was eating. Of course, I was taking photos instead of protecting her carrot! She got a little scared- but not too bad. I don't think she is scarred for life by the goose attack.
Also, Cale has found a new character to love- Dora. I could not resist the cute Dora hat. Now I just hope she will wear it.

May has been a busy and fun month. Cale got her first official skinned knees while visiting Great Grandma Lucille. She recovered quickly- and we found that dressing her in capris or pants helped ease the boo-boo drama.
We have been able to take some outings during my leave from work- and have enjoyed being outside. Leah is pretty easygoing and just seems to enjoy the ride in the stroller or the carry pack. I am thankful she has been so mellow. Especially since Cale has discovered the word "MINE" (thanks to her preschool I do believe).
Everything is "MINE" from morning till night. I pray this phase will end soon.
However, since we are only 2 months from the 2 year mark- I won't hold my breath. Leah is growing so fast- she smiles and coos at us. She is a trooper- even made it to see Baby Mama with us this weekend.
We are planning to enjoy the next couple of weeks- I will head back to work on June 9th- and things will get crazy again.
Wishing everyone a happy start to summer!!!
