simple joys

Today is was just the little bit of sunshine that made everyone happy...it was fun to see the kids play outside. We just stayed after preschool at the church and played on the playground. Cale is getting more and more brave and Leah loves to follow her. They both loved the tornado slide today. Please note, Leah DID have a coat on... but she took it off right before we left.
I have a video to post of Leah eating her noodles and talking. She says so many things I can't even begin to tell you. Some of my favorite things that she says are... "i want to watch Diego,Cale, where are you? I need milk" and I love when she sings songs. She can sing the whole ABC song, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and songs from Vacation Bible school. 

January 2010

We took the girls to swim last night. They loved it. I started to find an old baby picture of Cale swimming at Legacy 3 years ago... but it started to make me feel quite sentimental- and i decided I wasn't ready to cry about her getting so big. She is really growing up. Her favorite things to do right now are have friends over and play dress up.
Leah loves the water- and has no problem with getting her face under water. Leah still loves to sing and be right in the action with Cale. They both love to climb and play and we are really hoping for some warmer weather to be able to go to the park.

Eunice Jensen Hannah-Liddell

There will be a memorial service to honor my Grandma on Thursday, January 7th 2009 at 11am at the Lee's Summit United Methodist Church. We know she is in Heaven enjoying some laughs and seeing those that she loved that have gone before her. I hope to share a little more about her life later this week.

Christmas 2009

Here are some highlights from our Christmas together. We were able to enjoy time with everyone in our family and this year was special because we had 2 new little cousins to love.  I have to say that the girls had the most fun playing with their cousins- they just can't get enough of them!  There is a quick movie at the end of the slide show- so be sure you can hear the girls talking.
