We had a great night at the zoo on Friday. Auntie Erin was able to join us for the night and the girls had so much fun! We rode the train, the carousel and the kids were treated to free ice cream! the animals were all very active and we even ran into some friends. Great outing!
Did I mention that my camera works... but it is a bit blurry. I think there might be some water in there somewhere... I took some pictures anyway- to test it out. The flash came back-but not sure how well that will be for long. Anyway- I am still searching for the new camera. Hope everyone is enjoying the great weather. I know we sure are!
As I have posted on Facebook, my camera recently took a swim in the pool... so I am without a camera. It has been hard for me so far. the camera does work- but there is no flash- so that hasn't been cutting it with the rain lately. As I shop for a new camera and wait for it to arrive... I thought I would be post a few old pictures from last year so you can see how the kids have grown. Hope you enjoy it!
I am going to be a nerd- and post about my trip to the store today. Kmart (yes- I drove 10 miles to get to one) is offering double coupons up to $2 this week. Well, I learned that the crazy coupon ladies come out in full force for this event. IT IS WILD! However, with some preperation and planning- you can get some freebies and some good deals. I focused my trip on things we needed or use each month and things that we can save for a rainy day. We may end up donating a few items as well (as most things we bought were free with coupons- it was hard to pass them up).
My before coupon total was about $85. Do keep in mind that some things can be overpriced at Kmart to begin with. Still, I spent only $17.13 for all of the following items.
I love being able to save money on these items and spend it on other things or save it for the things we need to help improve our house!

My good friend Katie and her hubby Bruce are now living "down the street" from us.
they are about 2 miles away- but it is SUPER CLOSE and we could totally walk it - if we had our double job stroller fixed... Andy will have to get busy!

Cale had a great birthday this year...complete with 2 parties! Hard to believe she is 3. However, she acts like she is 3 and we are counting the days until school starts! 1 month away!
