Just thought you all might get a kick out of hearing and seeing what it is like at our house these days. Cale and Leah are 20 and a half months apart. They crack each other up, push, squabble and make lots of noise. If I try and make a phone call, this is usually the result. today I decided to share one minute of our life with you!!
We had our inaugural visit to Summit Waves this weekend. It was FABULOUS! A very fun time for everyone. Leah was sleeping at home- so she missed this visit- but we will be sure to take her there very soon and she is a little water bug and I know she will really enjoy it. Cale was slow to warm up to the pool- but finally did so. It was a special treat that my nieces and nephew were there too! My niece, Kelsey even went down a water slide with me. I really had fun- it has been a while since i have been on a water slide.
So... MiMa (my mom, Jane) will be at our house when Cale wakes up Friday morning. She is pretty stoked about this and keeps talking about her and the things they will do.
Since last year, she has said that MiMa was going to take her to the waterslides (Summit Waves) and even when I try to tell her that I don't know about that... she insists this is happening. I just heard her talking about the water slides so I grabbed the camera to see if she would talk. Next thing I know- she is crying b/c she wants her MiMa...and making a super sad face. She can be SO dramatic!!
Just had to post these from Mother's Day weekend. My sister Abby is so good with the girls. She runs and plays with them and Cale just keeps begging for more! Thanks Abby- you are a great AUNT!
As many of you know, my Grandma (Eunice Hannah Liddell) has been through a lot this last year. She has toughed it out through many miserable days and is now getting stronger everyday and is CANCER FREE! We visited her last week- and I just think she is looking so good. Hair is back and all!! Thanks to all of our friends and family who have been there for us and have prayed for her. She is a pretty tough lady!
Our girls love their wagon... they love playing outside. They LOVE playing with the neighbors... but they REALLY LOVE POPSICLES! I find it quite sweet that Cale lets Leah have licks of her popsicle. Leah likes them, but does not want to hold her own yet. Cale has really taken to helping her. It makes my heart happy. Happy Mother's Day!
Leah loves to eat blackberries. She just tears them up! She will eat a whole package if I let her! However, normally she has to share with mommy! I have really found that Leah loves most things I like. Whether that is just a coincidence or from nursing her - I'll never know. But it is great b/c she will eat so many healthy things.
She also adores blueberries and strawberries. I think I am headed to Hen House to get another Flat of berries!
