Dress up Day at CDO

Cale finally decided that she wanted to dress up for Halloween- I wasn't so sure she was going to be convinced. I think knowing that she got candy helped!
Thanks to Aunt Judy for the red M&M costume... she was the only M&M and everyone loved it!
Also, Auntie Erin was there today to help out and provide photography...we could not have done it without her. Even Daddy joined us for the fun. Leah and her friend Kellen LOVED watching all the kids parade in their costumes. They just pointed and smiled and had so much fun. Here are a few pictures. Happy Halloween!

Autumn fun

THANK YOU to Shelley for sharing this fun picture with us. The kids were having so much fun yesterday playing in the leaves. LOVE FALL!!!

Love those faces

Last Friday, we went to play at our favorite place, Paradise Park. It was fun-and not too crowded when we were there. Cale's favorite thing to do is paint her face and Leah loves the water table. She is finally figuring out that she can't pour out the water- so I am able to let her play. Both girls love the Art area and the pretend village. I am so thankful we have that place in LS!!  Hope everyone is well.

Zoo Day

We ventured to the zoo today. It was great. Our friends Shelley and Ainsley were able to join us. We had lots of train rides, some carousel rides and all the animals were out and about. This is Leah enjoying the Sea Lions and Cale being "brave" in the dark tunnel on the train. I love going to the zoo. I hope that we can go as many times this fall/winter as we could last year. We went every month except December.

Aunt Abby

Aunt Abby came over last Wed to visit. She helped the girls make pizzas... complete with shredded carrots on them. If you wonder why Cale and Leah have no clothes on... well- I took their clothes off to use the pizza sauce as I am kind of sick of cleaning up spaghetti sauce on clothes!! Here they are having a fun time. Thanks Abby for the visit and the pizza. We all really enjoyed it! Come back soon.

Cale at JackFM (and Flat Stanley)

We had such a fun day today. Cale started off by hitting the field at Soccertots...she did great. Leah and I stayed home and did some cooking and playing. When Andy got back with Cale, we made a swap- and Cale and I headed over to visit Erin and Bryan. They were kind enough to take time out of their day to let us visit the Jack FM radio studio. We brought Flat Stanley with us...as he goes with us everywhere right now! We have had so many fun outings with him, I am not sure I want him to go back to Arizona. Cale was too cute talking into the microphone and Bryan let her record her voice and play it back... she loved it. Also, she got to use the touch screen computer and make different sound effects. The best part was, she picked the pink buttons a lot, b/c they were pink.
Tonight we spent the evening as a family over at our friends house. We had a chance to babysit their daughter Lauren and it was a blast. All the girls played so well together and it was fun to just be chilling out together.
Here are some pictures from the radio studio. Thanks again to Erin and Bryan for being such wonderful friends and letting us do this. A fun memory!
And... if you didn't notice the leg lamp in the pictures... shame on YOU!!!

Leah's big girl update

"Little Leah" as I fondly call her is growing up! At this point, I have stopped counting the number of words that she knows, but her latest words are table, yogurt, buckle (not a new word, but much more clear), God, power, church, Cale (and it sounds like Cale!) and so many more. Also, she likes to eat corn on the cob, and yesterday she used the potty 2 times! We weren't home much today, but she did use the potty after her nap. Her biggest cheering section was Cale, who fondly told her good job, good job, good job over and over again. I was pretty happy about how she just sat right down and did her business. Then she proclaimed, all done! I know that she is watching and learning from everything that we do and everything that big sis Cale does too!
