Leah walking...and eating rocks

Here is a video that shows how Leah is walking. She is doing great. Also, she loves to eat rocks, plants, flowers and dandelions.
Not sure if I bragged on her... but she knows how to sign More, Milk, all done and she also puts her hand to her ear when mommy talks on the phone.
She still loves to eat all foods and eats fresh fruits and veggies like a maniac!
we love her!

Girlz club

Many of my friends have little girls also... they look like quite the little club.
There are even 2 little gals not in the picture!!!

Our Leah is 1!!

Our Leah is 1! I am a little behind on posting some photos of her. She is getting so grown up! She waves hi and bye, says "nite nite" when she is tired and is really walking. She adores playing with Cale and loves to swing. In fact, she usually cries when you take her out of the swing! Luckily, we have swings for both girls now in the backyard- so that is making our day to day life easier.
Leah was 20lb 10 oz and 29 inches long at her 1 year check up. That is about 40 percentile. thanks to all of our friends and family who made her day special and came to her party. I had so much fun watching the kids play and have fun. Thanks again! Have a great weekend!

Chicks and Ducks

Last year, Andy's mom took Cale to the Orscheln Store to see the baby chicks and ducks...this year we thought it would be fun again! The little ducklings are so cute... and they had little bitty chicks... and older chicks. The bitty ones let you hold them. The older ones - not so much. However, the older ones put on a good show... trying to fly around and making lots of pefect peeping. If you are every around an Orscheln Store- this is a fun things to do with little ones. Okay- I really liked it too! Grammy Shirley works right across the street- so she was able to meet us on her lunch break and visit. She did most of the chick holding so I could snap the pics. Thanks Shirley! Cale kept saying, "They are really fluffy and soft." Leah was kind of tired- so she wasn't as impressed. She clung to Grammy for her life. I think the chicks trying to fly scared her a bit. At least she liked her ride in the cart. (see video at the end)
Happy Easter everyone!

Helping me organize

I asked Cale is she wanted to help me clean the closet and organize some things today with some plasitc tubs. She said yes. Then this was the result of her help!
